SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

We ship through registered and trusted courier partners for orders within India as well as overseas. For shipping timelines, please refer to the product descriptions page for each product.


*Please note that Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays are not set as working days for standard deliveries.

**On all domestic shipping rates will be directly communicated to the customer by the TICP team or via our website. 
***On all International orders placed via email/WhatsApp, shipping rates will be directly communicated to the customer by the TICP team. The shipping rates on the website currently do not apply to International SOUK products.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

·       We offer free shipping for all domestic orders above INR 15,000.

  • For orders under INR 15,000, shipping and handling rates vary based on the product size and volume, the packaging required and the shipping destination. The final shipping and handling charges can be seen at checkout after providing the shipping address.
  • The deliveries are dispatched to the shipping address recorded at checkout.
  • All orders are processed from our warehouse in Noida, Uttar Pradesh and Hand painted products are sent directly from our artisan’s homes to delivery address recorded at checkout.
  • Free shipping does not apply to custom or bulk orders.

 

TRACKING AND DELIVERY

·       Post shipping, the details of tracking number and information of the shipping agency will be shared via email.

  • Orders can be tracked using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping partner’s website too.
  • The order status can also be tracked on TICP website footer “Order Status”.
  • Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package three (3) times before its returned to us. In case it is returned to us after 3 attempts, no refunds will be entertained. Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for more details.
  • Please ensure the complete shipping address including zip code and a mobile number to ensure hassle free delivery.
  • In case of failure to deliver due to incorrect details, no refunds will be entertained. Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for more details.


MODES OF PAYMENT

·       For Domestic orders, we accept all major debit & credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express), Net Banking options across major banks as well as recognized Wallet & UPI options.

  • For all International transactions, we accept major Credit Cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express) as well as payments vide PayPal and PayU (third party payment gateways).
  • American Express credit cards may not be accepted for some transactions, due to some technical issue with our payment partners. However, American Express card transactions can be routed through PayPal accounts.
  • Please Note: As per RBI regulations in India, all credit and debit cards issued in Indian Territory cannot be used for transactions in international currency by default unless overridden by the card holder explicitly with the bank.



RETURNS & EXCHANGES

The India Craft Project adheres to high quality standards and takes great care in deliveries. In the rare instance you are not happy with your purchase, please note below the exchange policy.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR RETURNS
Your purchase may be eligible for exchange as per below criteria:

  • Hand painted and other products are not eligible for returns or exchange unless the product delivered has a quality/manufacturing defect OR has been delivered broken. Please do photograph the defect as soon as you open the packaging.
  • Products purchased during sale period / discounted pricing, are not eligible for returns or exchange.
  • Customised products or special bulk orders are not eligible for returns or exchange.

·       International orders are not eligible for returns or exchange.


If your purchase meets the exchange criteria above, please contact our customer care team within 2 days of delivery via any of the following channels:

  • For Damage/quality issues, please provide order number, date of transaction, delivery address and image of the defective item along with the packaging it was received in.


Our customer care team will investigate and revert within 2 working days. Upon receipt of communication from our customer care team, please follow the below steps:



In case of quality issue/defect:

  • Please pack the product in its original packaging along with the invoice and label, or any other inclusions sold as a part of the purchase.
  • We will organize a reverse pick up from the address stated in your invoice
  • Upon receipt of the product at our warehouse, it will be subject to quality inspection and if it passes the inspection, a fresh piece will be dispatched to reach you within standard shipping timelines.
  • In the rare occurrence that a replacement piece is not available, a Credit note will be issued for the full amount for the damaged product.
  • Our credit notes can be used on our website and in stores.

Upon receipt of the product at our warehouse,
 it will be subject to a quality inspection. If it passes the inspection and once we have received payment for shipping charges of the new piece, a fresh piece will be dispatched to reach you within standard shipping timelines.

1.    In the rare occurrence that a replacement piece is not available, a Credit note will be issued for the amount after deduction of the initial shipping charges.

2.    Our credit notes can be used on our website and in stores.

3.    We offer size exchange only for the same style of clothing purchased.

4.    We are unable to entertain requests to replace garments with a different style even if the price is the same.

5.    Please note that size exchanges will not be applicable for purchases made during a sale/discount period or on customized orders.

6.    Please note that size exchanges will not be applicable to Design partner Brands.
