Gond paintings are a form of folk and tribal art that is practiced by one of the largest tribes in India. Gond comes from the Dravidian expression, Kond which means ‘the green mountain’.Gond art comes with the belief that a good image brings good luck. The colours and use of elements in the painting create a sense of balance between feelings of harmony and serenity.

These paintings come without a frame, so you can make it your own as per your space and choice. Hand painted by Om Dhurve, a Gond artist from Madhya Pradesh. These are hand painted on order, and Om takes minimum 7-10 days to make your painting and get it ready to be shipped to you. This product is made by hand and may have slight differences with each piece and that’s what makes yours unique.
